It wasn’t until I enrolled in a figure drawing class that I began to understand the creative process and realize my passion for making art.  I became more interested in form and learned how to control and manipulate the image and gained the confidence to draw whatever I want.  Some 30 years later, drawing is still the central focus of how I choose to make art and Florida’s landscapes with all its lush tropical plants, abundant sunshine, diverse wildlife and dramatic weather changes is my muse.
